Green Eggs and Ham
Book by Dr. Seuss
Sam-I-Am tries to offer an unnamed character a plate of green eggs and ham. However, the character tells Sam he hates the food. Sam further asks him to eat green eggs and ham in various other locations (house, box, car, tree, train, dark, rain, boat) and with different animals (mouse, fox, goat), but is still rebuffed. Finally, the character accepts the offer, samples the green eggs and ham, and happily declares that he likes them.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Book by Eric Carle
THE all-time classic story, from generation to generation, sold somewhere in the world every 30 seconds! Have you shared it with a child or grandchild in your life?
One sunny Sunday, the caterpillar was hatched out of a tiny egg. He was very hungry. On Monday, he ate through one apple; on Tuesday, he ate through three plums--and still he was hungry. When full at last, he made a cocoon around himself and went to sleep, to wake up a few weeks later wonderfully transformed into a butterfly!

A school where kids in patkas, hijabs, and yamulkes play side-by-side with friends in baseball caps. A school where students grow and learn from each other's traditions and the whole community gathers to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
All Are Welcome lets young children know that no matter what, they have a place, they have a space, they are welcome in their school.
